April 19: Hard Questions, Harder Answers

Trusting God when He either delays or deals differently than we would like, with blatant evil in the world, can be one of the greatest tests of faith. Yet, this was exactly what God wanted to help Habakkuk learn. This is the focus our study will take as we look at the first of two studies from Habakkuk. We will realize in this first study that we can ask hard questions, but we might also receive even harder answers!

I have provided a set of PowerPoint slides you could use as an option, or you can capture the information on a markerboard for display during the session.

I pray that your discussion of the dialogue between Habakkuk and God will help you understand the importance of trust in our relationship with a Holy and loving God. We must learn to trust God, even when we don't understand His ways or the circumstances around us. We must trust God, not only for salvation, but for everything we experience in life!
