June 7: The Truth Presented

Today the Deity of Christ is being challenged on every front. Historians, scientists, and yes, even professing Christians have sought to cast doubts on whether or not Jesus Christ was truly the Son of God. Some even argue that he "became the Son of God" because of what He did on the cross. All of this is false teaching that should embolden our faith rather than shake it. Yet, as in the Apostle John's day, there are professing Christians who are being led away by false teachings which rob them of their fellowship and their joy. As in Johns day, the Truth must be presented!

 This is where our study begins as we look at the first chapter of 1 John. During this quarter we will not only be studying 1 John, but also 2 & 3 John, and Revelation. As you prepare to teach these books please review this short video so you can understand more fully how to approach each book:
