As I studied our passages this week in John 20, I was reminded of how much the resurrection changed the lives of those who had observed Jesus dying on the cross. I was driven to examine my own life and truly evaluate whether my absolute belief in the resurrection of Jesus Christ is reflected in the way I live. This study should drive all of us to examine whether we truly live in resurrection power on a daily basis.
The TARGET for the study this week focuses on helping adults identify ways God's resurrection has transformed their lives and at least one way they demonstrate their belief in His resurrection. I have suggested some videos as options for opening the session and the following outline to emphasize the transformation that takes place when one experiences the resurrection power of Jesus Christ.
