I cannot overemphasize how much I appreciate you. God is using you in ways that you can't imagine. As we prepare for Sunday, please continue to pray that we will be able to honor God as we continue to Learn Together How to Love God and Love Others.
Room Changes This Sunday:
This week we are making adjustments in rooms assignments to accommodate growth. Please be patient as we help adults make transitions. The greatest effect will be on the 11 a.m. groups. Please see the new listing of adults class room assignments. Make sure to contact your group if you are affected.
Guest Registration Cards:
We have put Guest Registration Cards in each of your boxes. This should make it easier for you to have access to cards to register guests when they visit your group.
Chairs:
We are still working to make chair adjustments. If your new room has too many chairs, please stack what you don't need. If you need more chairs we will be there to help you get them in your room.
FAITH Connections Notebooks:
Please return your FAITH Connections Notebooks to the workroom so we can keep them updated. Thanks.
Bible Study Helps
This week's study takes a departure from our study in John. We will be focusing on Psalm 139 as we focus on the Sanctity of Human Life.
Please be sensitive to adults in your group who carry a heavy load of regret related to this issue. This might be due to an abortion or caring for an ill family member or a special needs child. Pray ahead of time for God to use your group time as He sees fit, to both challenge and encourage each member. Ask Him for wisdom and compassion as you prepare and teach.
Psalm 139 helps us grasp David's awe of God's love for human life. We have a chance to help all group members determine how they can demonstrate value for every human life from conception to the end of natural life.
Tika Scoles and the Women's ministry has provided information to help your group focus on our local right-to-life opportunities. Here are some ways they are offering to help:
- The women’s ministry will be providing a flyer this Sunday that provides information about opportunities for your group to be involved in the Right to Life work.
